This collection features 110 hilarious columns with vivid illustrations by artist Ryan Ostrander, bringing to life pet owners whose delusions, machinations and predilections have to be seen to be believed!
Where Did I Go Wrong?
Born and raised in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, Dr. Michael A. Obenski wanted to become a veterinarian at age 11. He accomplished it in 1972, and six years later opened the Allentown Clinic for Cats. Dr. Obenski started penning dvm360's popular column "Where did I go wrong?" in 1976, and veterinarians have enjoyed the satirical look at practice life ever since.
Now you can laugh, relive and relate to these stories over and over again in this 10-year compilation of more than 130 columns. Obenski explores flights of fancy; contemplates fables and friends; consults his diary; examines the world; and reflects on a career's worth of distinguishing between what's dumb, dumber, and dumbest.
As Obenski himself describes it, "The writing career came to me out of the blue. You see, as an active veterinary practitioner, I met so many notable people and witnessed so many strange events that I felt compelled to record my observations and eventually share them. . . . I hope they bring a smile or a chuckle, because, frankly, we deserve it."
