The New CME Environment – Measuring and reporting on Educational Outcomes
Recent changes in the manner of funding educational programs are partly the result of the recognition that the resources put into education may not be resulting in improved patient care. In an effort to address this need, some companies have gone as far as to outline specific educational outcomes requirements with the goal of showing both improvement in skills as well as delivery of care.
Developing a strategy for measuring these outcomes and delivering the results, if not considered at the time of project inception, may become overly involved, expensive, and provide incorrect information.
This webinar will discuss how appropriate measurement and analysis, incorporated at the start of a project and viewed in the broader context of a commitment to improved educational outcomes, provides a significant opportunity for the delivery of better education, behavioral change and better outcomes.
