How often are do-it-yourselfers asking for a specific brand and why-warranties, product reliability, price or quality?

 

Some key findings from this report…

 

§         41.5% of respondents who purchased car wash products bought them at an auto parts store; followed by 33.5% who purchased them from a discount store

 

§         80.2% of those who purchased car wash products chose that facility because of it’s convenient location

 

§         Of the 72% of respondents who purchased climate control products and were advised on additional repairs which were needed, more than two-thirds (69.2%) had the work done on the spot, while 30.8% had it done later

 

§         More than one third (38%) of respondents who purchase motor oil asked for a specific brand

Ø       More than three quarters (74.2%) asked for that brand because of its quality and reliability
