A procedure for issuing lot numbers for unique identification and tracking. This procedure applies to all lot number assignments for purchased materials, as well as products produced in-house and includes cancellation of assigned lot numbers. This is a seven-page document, including two attachments (Receiving Lot Number Log, and In-house Lot Number Log). Responsibility is assigned to each step of the procedure.
